If you haven't read then link is at the end of this Blog you can check it out!
In previous blog we were reached to the Chennai Egmore.
We were lucky cause the place we had to go there was near the place of my relative's home, and when they got to know about my tour to Chennai they contacted me and invited all of us to stay at their place so that we wouldn't have to wander from pillar to post cause we were new at that place, and that was the kind gesture from my relative and will always thankful for this.. so, we stayed at their home for 3 days and took a proper enjoyment of that place.
We had 3 days there, 2 days to wander and explore there and at last day there was our exam for what we went so far.
so without wasting time first day we planned to go to MARINA BEACH the speciality of South India, you can look or find in every south indian movie or novel based on that place there must mention the name of MARINA BEACH.
We all left the place in shorts and bermudas because that's how people wander at beach side, to take the view of sunset from the seashore we reached there before sunset. excited we were going to feel the beach vibes so booked a cab because we didn't know the local route to beach and it was 17Km from that place. so in the cab, driver Manik Baasha was a great fan of Rajini ANNA that's why his name was based on the character of Rajini anna in movie MANIK BAASHA as he told us but was a good person during our ride he told us about the famous places, cynosures and city and what was on the way he was trying to describe the things in english with tamil that was sounding funny cum intresting and we all were enjoying this. that's how with a good mood we reached our destination MARINA BEACH.
from the roadside what we could see, was just sand and shops on beach approx. after 100 mtrs we saw the waves of water and it was looking tremendous, it looks like at some point the sky and the sea will meet, like seems endless. the view and the feel was incredible just fantabulous.
First we took a lot of pictures of the surroundings and specially captured the sunset, clicked photos on beach after then we went inside the water, it was the great feeling when waves came with a height and down to our feet but we were in Dilemma, should go for plunge or not, because we didn't have clothes to change and in this dilemma suddenly one of us opened his handkerchief and spread on seashore and took his cloth off put them on handkerchief and jumped into the water, so without a second thought everyone followed him and did the same within 5 mins all of us were in the water plunging and playing.
after one and half hour came out of the water when swallowed an enough amount of saline water and found that there is no one except us inside the water because it was about to be dark and we were still in water(Haha)!
after that we wandered over sand and looked into shops n stalls what were there and there was a plenty of shops for girls cosmetics and ornaments so everyone bought the things for their loved ones and friends what they liked there and spent a little more time at beach in cool vibes and took the authentic taste of Nariyal Pani another speciality of that place and in all this there had darked of night.
just opposite of the MARINA BEACH, there was M.G. Ramchandran Memorial (M.G.R.) Park. that too was a splendid place but we didn't visit inside the Park because it was too late and we were totally exhausted and the sand was inside our clothes so we just wanted to leave ASAP. So, we returned back to home.
on second day we planned to visit the beautiful temples of south as we saw in movies, the infrastructure and surroundings really looks incredible by first glimpse and the culture and their love for white is quite special but unfortunately the most famous ones were very far from our place like Tirupati Balaji or Vattamali Murugan Temple where the movie Chennai Exprees was shoot and we didn't have that much time to go there, so we asked to my relative, Is there any temple or sacred place to visit then they told us here are plenty of temples in every second street you guys can go and visit there.
so, late morning we went on streets of that unknown place but that was the second day and we knew a little bit of that place. so on streets one thing we observed and that was the Rangoli at every house's main gate not only house but infront of shops also. that was a culture of that place to wakeup early morning and after morning chores they have a tradition to make a Rangoli of white powder or some make with flowers at their main gate of home or shop.
finally we found a temple that was under construction but still one side was open so few of us went inside the temple but there was only 2 or 3 people and only priest so we just clicked some pictures and said Hii to the Goddess and left (Hehe).
and returned back to home and thought we should read something cause next day there was our exam...so we read a little but when there would be 5 people of same level madness how you could even think about study, one turned on the TV and tuned to music channel and turned the volume up and second turned down the temperature of AC and likely without any effort there was create an atmosphere of dance and all of us started dancing n enjoying for no reason and likewise we spent an hour and there was evening so at the end moment (panic situation) just started turning the pages of notes to remind the things what we read before and that was the last night at that place so we got a treat from my relative and we all were going to having Dinner outside that night after a funny cum silly incident (broke the tap).(heehe)
That night we took the South Indian food in traditional style on the leaf of Banana tree and after the dinner we had got the delicious dessert and that's how the beautiful night ended there.
next morning we woke up and after freshning up and bath we took breakfast and got ready to go for examination centre, we had reached before time there so just waited for entry and the exam was in offline mode so we wrote the exam and after exam we already had planned that we would go to the India's Fourth largest mall named Phoenix Market City, as we planned like we did, that was 2 hr. exam and after written it we went to the mall.
that was really too big and there was one another part of that mall named Palladium
returned back and packed the things and left the place with plenty of good moments and memories....
was a great time with friends lots of fun, memories and knowledge about new places and looked many new thing and observes & learned the things in those days what barely I would learn if there was any elder of family person with me..
only message is always try to be independent and stand for your own things that will not only give you enjoyment but also enhance and groom your individuality. may you face some good and bad experiences but will remarkable n fruitful for sure in further life..
I think in this I've already described and told many things. so let the story of returning with Tamilians and that awful incident of night leave for next part.
